Diane Penzenstadler – President and Founder
It was Diane who decided one morning that as long as we were helping so many of our clients coordinate events that she just jump in and start a new company to take away everyone's pain. Since she has the longest and most difficult to spell last name, we all sat up and nodded vigorously, yes, yes, yes! Every company needs someone to keep an eye on the big picture. Believe it when we tell you that Diane has seen a lot of really big pictures in her 30+ years in sales and marketing, which also includes ownership of 44º North Advertising & Design. Since starting Encoré in 2006 under Diane's guidance, the company has coordinated and managed not only numerous client events, but has also launched a number of Encoré Signature Events, with perhaps more on the horizon. It's her job to keep a balanced eye on all of our events. That's some balancing act and she's definitely a pro.
Elizabeth Krueger – Event Planner
Meet Elizabeth; Encoré Event Planning's wedding and event planner. Elizabeth comes to us with a background in meeting and event planning, as she founded The Butterfly Effect Charity Event in the spring of 2015, which has since evolved into Ambassadors for Change, Inc. a non-profit organization. Elizabeth has a passion for event planning and especially favors wedding planning, as she is a hopeless romantic and enjoys seeing the bride and groom's dreams become reality. In addition to assisting with corporate client events, Elizabeth is the primary planner and point of contact for Encoré's Wedding Faire and for our wedding planning services, newly launched in 2017. She is also an ordained minister, and offers officiating services as well as written preparation of customeized wedding ceremonies. She is pursuing her degree in Meeting and Event Management at Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton and has aspirations to own her own business. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys hiking, being her loved ones' biggest cheerleader at their events, traveling and capturing each and every precious moment on camera. Oh, and we can't forget to mention, the lady is OBSESSED with all things pineapple. We see a Carmen Miranda costume in her future.
Kathy Murphy – Graphic Designer
Kathy joined Encoré in the summer of 2013, and has a long and successful career as a graphic designer and artist. Kathy has worked as a designer in print media, manufacturing and for nonprofit organizations. In her free time (and we keep her so busy, there isn't much) Kathy volunteers her talent for organizations such as Artists or ARC, SCORE, Rotary and the Oshkosh Community Mural Project. She is also active in the Oshkosh Community Fine Arts Association currently serving as president; Women in Management, Executive Women Golf Association and the Oshkosh Photography Group. She participates in several area art shows each year, and most recently was awarded Honorable Mention at the Wisconsin Regional Arts Program and a First Place in Photography at the Rural Rembrandts Show, both in Wautoma. While Kathy is a designer by trade, she has extensive experience in coordinating events, from art shows to golf outtings and everything in between!
